Snow Trout Fly Fishing
Snow trout are native fish that inhabit the clear and cold streams and rivers of Bhutan, such as the Paro Chhu, Haa Chhu, Pho Chhu, Wang Chhu, Tang Chhu and Chamkhar Chhu. They can weigh up to 15 - 20 pounds and are prized for their fighting spirit and beauty. Snow trout are challenging to catch on a fly rod, as they are wary and selective. They feed on insects, crustaceans and small fish.
